The late Ayub Bey, also Grand Daddy I.U, was an American rapper, and a member of the hip-hop group Juice Crew in the 1980s.
He is a prominent member of the early rap label Cold Chillin’ Records and debuted with his song, 1990’s “Smooth Assassin.
Grand Daddy I.U was born on 23rd August 1968 in Queens, New York but grew up in Hempstead, Long Island. Grand Daddy I.U died on 13th December 2022, at the age of 54.
